SpaceDock

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This policy covers the SpaceDock macOS application and the website spacedock.pro, operated by [OPERATOR_LEGAL_NAME] ("we", "us"). The summary is short because the data practices are short: the app keeps your data on your Mac, and the only personal data we handle is what's needed to sell you a license and answer your email.

1. The SpaceDock app

Data stored locally

Everything SpaceDock stores stays on your Mac: your saved Spaces, pinned items, notes, settings, and cached icons. This data lives in local application storage and local files under your user account. It is not synced to or through any server we operate.

What the app reads, and why

This information is displayed to you and, where you choose to save a Space, stored locally. It is not transmitted to us.

Network connections the app makes

The app has no account system and no telemetry service that receives usage analytics.

2. Purchases (Paddle)

Pro licenses are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our merchant of record. When you buy, Paddle — not us — collects and processes the data needed to complete the transaction: your name, email address, billing address or country, payment details, and tax-related information such as VAT numbers where applicable. Paddle's handling of that data is described in the Paddle Privacy Policy.

From Paddle we receive order information (your email address, the product purchased, order ID, and country) so we can issue your license key and provide support. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

3. The website

spacedock.pro is a static website. It sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL — to serve and secure the site.

4. Email

If you email support@spacedock.pro, we keep the correspondence so we can help you, including with license transfers and refunds. We don't add you to a mailing list.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since the data we hold is limited to order records and support email, exercising these rights is usually a one-email affair: write to support@spacedock.pro. For data held by Paddle, you can also contact Paddle directly.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the changelog.
